These terms govern your use of GeniYanga, the mobile point-of-sale built by NxtGen Labs Limited (“NxtGen Labs”, “we”, “us”) in Lilongwe, Malawi. By creating an account or using the till, you agree to what's below.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the business details you register with, for keeping your password safe, and for everything that happens under your login. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your data, your business
Your products, customers, sales records, and receipts belong to you. We process them on your behalf so the till works — see the Privacy Policy for the detail.
MRA & tax compliance
GeniYangais built to produce MRA EIS-compliant receipts. You stay responsible for keeping your taxpayer details current and for submitting returns as required by Malawi Revenue Authority. We'll alert you if something on our side breaks compliance.
Billing
Paid plans are billed in Malawian Kwacha. We'll always tell you what you owe before charging. Annual plans are non-refundable after fourteen days — write to support if you hit an issue.
Acceptable use
Don't use GeniYanga to break Malawian law, to harass anyone, or to circumvent tax reporting. We can suspend an account that does. Reasonable, but firm.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime, but no service is perfect. GeniYangais designed to keep selling even when the internet doesn't. We don't accept liability for indirect losses, but we'll always do right by you if something we did caused the problem.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged inside the till before they take effect.
